9.4.12 Introduction to Hydroponics

Welcome back! I hope you had a great holiday weekend. Today’s objective was to identify the needs and benefits of a hydroponics system. We started the lesson off with hydro preass warm up. We then watched a video introducing hydroponic systems: and then a quick view of roots grown in water: Hydroponics: Time lapse root growth. Then we used the CUA strategy to break down the SR RFP Hydroponics modified for Period 1 and 3 and SR RFP Hydroponics modified for Periods 5 and 6. We also recorded information about the problem the RFP address using SR Hydroponics Design-folio Step 1 for periods 1 and 3 and SR Hydroponics Design-folio Step 1 for periods 5 and 6. We finished up by creating groups and germinating your basil seeds 🙂    We will finish Step 1 tomorrow in class. There is no homework tonight.
